d. Judgment because of rejecting Christ. Rom 6:23.
3. He preached 5 Gospels.
1. THE GOSPEL Rom 1:15.
A. The good news to sinful men. 1 Cor. 15: 3,4.
B. It relates what God has done for sinful men.
11. THE GOSPEL OF GOD. Rom 1:1.
A. God is the source of this good news.
B. Because of this gospel, Paul was separated from…
a. sinfulness to holiness
b. fanaticism to reason
c. Hopelessness to hopefulness.
111. THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. Rom 1:16.
A. The good news of what Christ has done for sinful men. Rom 4: 24,25.
a. He died … by the hands of sinful men
b. Was buried… by those who loved Him
c. Was resurrected … by the power of the living God.
B. So that we might live also. John 14:19.
a. We too will die
b. We too will be disposed of
c. We too will be resurrected
i) To life eternal in heaven or…
ii) Life eternal in hell.
1V. THE GOSPEL OF PEACE. Rom 10:15.
A. It is the result of trusting in His finished work for sinful men.
a. Through belief on Him. John 3:16
b. By resting in His omnipotence.
c. By trusting in His immutability.
B. Being safe in Him, I enjoy the gospel of peace.
V. THE GOSPEL OF PAUL. Rom 16:25.
A. It was his because he understood the responsibility of sharing it.
a. He had experienced it himself.
B. Knowing all that he benefited from it as his personal gospel, he had to preach it.
CONC: 1) Where does that leave us?
2) Consider these questions…
a. Have I been saved through this gospel?
b. Does this gospel in any way motivate me to share it?
3) If not… then why?
